Mr. Potato Head is not going away, he and the Mrs. have not been cancelled. You can still buy them and later this year Hasbro will also offer a Potato family set that you can create as you please. What an outrage, yet another company pursuing their capitalist dreams. Profit, profit, profit, have they no shame.

Buy this ridiculous toy for your children if you like even though it is in contradiction to one of the first rules of parenting, don't play with your food!

Seriously though, as if, why is there a concern over the toy potatoes gender? They have no genitalia, remember? Mrs. Potato Head looks exactly like her husband, what is the appeal.

You know a real potato costs far less and once the tot is tired of it you can teach them to fry, bake and mash!

What a lot of nonsense over absolutely nothing. Imagine taking all this energy and directing it toward improving our lives.
